Search App Store / Play Store
Prerequisites
- You are in the app workspace.
- You know whether target lane is iOS/iPadOS or Android.
Click Path
- In app explorer actions, click
Search App Store / Play Store.
- Enter app query.
- Review candidate metadata carefully, including publisher, platform, icon, and store identity.
- Add the correct mobile app candidate to your tenant-scoped workspace when needed.
- Return to deploy wizard
Choose Platform step with the correct app context.
Expected Result
- You identify the correct mobile app candidate before deployment decisions.
- Tenant-owned mobile entries stay clearly separated from public store entries.
- You understand which mobile entries you can remove later and which public entries are read-only.
Ownership And Removal Rules
- Private or tenant-owned mobile apps can be removed by the owning tenant context.
- Public mobile entries are treated as shared catalog data and are not removable from a tenant-owned workflow.
- If you are unsure whether an app is public or tenant-owned, stop and confirm ownership before deleting it.
Approval And Visibility
- Newly added mobile apps may pass through approval or moderation flow before they behave like shared catalog entries.
- Icon previews are fetched from the store metadata surface; if icon data is missing, verify the selected app identity before continuing.
If It Fails
- If search results are unclear, refine query with publisher/app identity terms.
- If expected app is missing, verify platform choice first.
- If a remove action is blocked, verify whether the app is public rather than tenant-owned.
- If still unresolved, continue with troubleshooting and support flow.
