Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PackMyApp (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
PackMyApp is a self-hosted web application that helps IT professionals package, configure, and deploy software applications to Microsoft Intune. The Service connects to your Microsoft tenant via the Microsoft Graph API using your own credentials and operates entirely within your infrastructure.
3. Eligibility
The Service is intended for use by authorized IT administrators and professionals within organizations that hold valid Microsoft Intune licenses. You must have the authority to act on behalf of your organization and comply with all applicable Microsoft licensing requirements.
4. Permitted Use
You may use the Service to:
- Browse the application catalog and select software for deployment.
- Generate Win32 deployment packages and push them to Microsoft Intune.
- Monitor deployment status and manage application versions.
- Administer users and settings within your own PackMyApp instance.
5. Prohibited Use
You must not use the Service to:
- Deploy software to tenants you are not authorized to manage.
- Circumvent security controls or access controls implemented by Microsoft or your organization.
- Distribute malicious software, spyware, or unauthorized applications through Intune.
- Reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute the Service in violation of its open-source license.
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or regulation.
6. Microsoft Services
PackMyApp interacts with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Intune. Your use of those services is governed by Microsoft’s own terms and privacy policies. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft Corporation.
7. Open-Source License
PackMyApp is distributed as an open-source project. The source code is subject to the terms of the applicable open-source license included in the repository. These Terms of Service apply to the hosted or self-hosted running instance of the application and do not override the open-source license for the source code itself.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the authors and contributors of PackMyApp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to unintended deployment of applications, data loss, or disruption to your Intune environment.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the authors and contributors of PackMyApp from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be indicated by the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
